With Krrish 3 scoring stunningly high during the weekdays and creating one record after another, a double century is now a cakewalk. In fact now the next huge target is for the film to cross the 225 crore milestone of Chennai Express which seems in sight, considering over 165 crore that the film has already netted in Week One.
These are indeed marvelous results for a film and especially its genre which was always a risk to begin with. Moreover, Rakesh Roshan has further re-established his supremacy as the only filmmaker from the 80s who has continued to change with times while keeping Indian emotions intact. With Krrish 3, he can pretty much wear the crown of ‘Showman’ on his head and the only filmmaker to have managed such terrific record critically as well as commercially. For someone who started his career as a director with Khudgarz (1987) 26 years ago, he has evolved over decades, »

Unlike Ram Gopal Varma's remake of "Sholay", which was purely misguided, and Karan Malhotra's "Agneepath", which was unnecessarily brutal, "Zanjeer" is just what a remake should be. It's respectful to the original material which, let me hasten to add, was no masterpiece,. »

While on and off rumours about Kareena making a comeback with Hrithik were doing the rounds, looks like Karan Johar now is ready to put a full stop to all of it. Karan recently confirmed that Hrithik and Kareena are very much a part of the next Dharma Production venture, Shuddhi. The film is said to be an intense love story with a reincarnation theme weaved in a dramatic form, while Karan Malhotra of Agneepath (2012) fame will helm the project. KJo believes that they are the right choice for the roles because he required actors who can bring the desired intensity among them. Also, the most interesting part is that Hrithik and Kareena will be seen sharing the screen space after more than a decade. Though the shoot of the film is yet to begin, it is slated for release in October next year. »

Dharma Productions was established in 1976 by Yash Johar, Karan Johar’s father. In the last 37 years, the film company has become one of the most prominent players when it comes to putting Bollywood cinema on the world map.
KJo’s celluloid ventures — from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) to their latest blockbuster Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (currently enjoying a historic run) — have taken his father’s dream several notches higher. And Dharma’s module of functioning, like a full-fledged film studio, is something many have aspired to follow. But very few have managed it so far.
Says Karan, “Ours is a young company with tall achievements; all of it is my father’s blessings. While we have been growing from strength to strength in each of the last three decades, in the last six years alone, we’ve been able to achieve several milestones. And this is because we have the strongest reserve of filmmakers. »

You know you’ve watched a good movie when you walk away from the theatre with a great sense of satisfaction. Well that’s exactly how I felt after watching Karan Malhotra’s Agneepath (2012). Considering it was a remake I didn’t really know what to expect, and knew it would inevitably be compared to the original. Either way, Karan Malhotra’s film is definitely one of the best movies I have seen till date.
The film revolves around Vijay Dinanath Chauhan (Hrithik Roshan) and his revengeful journey against the malevolent Kaancha (Sanjay Dutt). Everything from the powerful dialogues, thrilling action scenes and suspense elements were played through to keep me on the edge of my seat throughout. Amongst all this, however, I’m here to share with you a particular scene from the film that remains one of my all time favourites!
Vijay’s one and only »
