The plots are getting more and more ridiculous.

The plots are getting more and more ridiculous.

They remind me of the old shoestring budgets and lazy plots of the 60s and early 70s series, like The Saint and many others.

We get a "Mogadishu" caption on the screen and our heroes pop inside an obvious set full of extras in silly attire, the good guys retrieve whatever the World's number one arch villain Volkoff had lost whilst gambling (serious lack of credibility, writers!), and off we go to another far away unlikely destination.

Caption "Swiss Alps" and we are in a set with a backdrop of snow and mountains, then we enter a "cave". 5 minute game of chess which includes what seems like an eternity of squealing by Chuck, and we are in the vault. Where does Volkoff get the electricity from? Who reads the meter, high up in the "Swiss Alps"?

Then it gets very crowded in the vault, a bit of waffling, a bit of bashing but as there are still a few minutes left to fill the 42 minutes of the episode, our friends spend them getting locked in and getting out.

The writers should stick to their day job at the Buy More.
