The Mercedes SL has wrong license plates. It has the modern ones with the logo of the European Union on the far left, which is poorly covered with yellow tape.

Willem Holleeder watches the movie Scarface in the cinema with his girlfriend. However, this movie was released in the Netherlands 6 months after the kidnapping (April 1984).

The kidnap took place in 1983, however traffic signs and roundabouts as filmed in the movie has been introduced in the Netherlands since the 90s.

When Rem almost gets hit by Heineken's car; you can clearly see the "BelCompany" store in the background, a store that specializes in (mostly) cell phones. Not only were these hard to come by in 1983, but the company itself wasn't founded until 12 years later.

In the pub, the song "Ik verscheurde je foto" by Koos Alberts is played. This song was recorded and released in 1984, months after the kidnapping took place.

Continuity 

In the first scene you see Holleeder taking off his leather jacket. In the next view he wears the jacket no more, then in the next view he's taking it off again.
