I normally avoid the BBC for news because I find them intensely right-wing and neoliberal. Having said that, this was a rather good episode, but for all the wrong reasons.
I thought the Labour politician wasn't left-wing enough and Gok Wan was his usual irritating self. But for me, it was the clever little twist in the section regarding Barclays that I found to be so amusing.
I thought it was an excellent departure from the norm to have a tax expert who seemed so determined to attack the rule of law. He also appeared to be rather sleep-deprived. But, Richard Murphy, who is famous for advising nannies how to avoid tax and setting up his own personal interests in Ireland, was in excellent form.
As per usual, Naga Munchetty was by far the best thing in it.
