Game of Thrones season 6: Everything we know so far from plot spoilers to premiere date
As for who the actor will be playing? Well, like much surrounding season 6 of Game of Thrones, specifics are currently thin on the ground.
However, Entertainment Weekly has claimed that while McShane is not expected to appear on screen much, his character will be of huge importance to the season's story arc.
McShane's recent TV roles also include Ray Donovan and American Horror Story: Asylum, while he also played the notorious pirate Blackbeard in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, starring opposite Johnny Depp and Penélope Cruz.

News come by way of TV Line, who reports that Campbell’s role will be that of a fashion editor who will seemingly go “head to head” with Lady Gaga. Entering its fifth season, Ryan Murphy’s dark and twisted anthology series has only grown in popularity with each new chapter, and the fact that it has the clout to attract true star power in the form of Gaga and Campbell is a testimony to its success on FX.
What will really get fans intrigued, though, is that Campbell’s editor will reportedly “pay the ultimate price for her critiques,” and many of her scenes – due to begin filming next week – will include both Gaga and series veteran Angela Bassett. In a post via Twitter, Campbell expressed her excitement about joining the fray. »

Fresh off her duel with Cookie on Empire, Naomi Campbell will soon square off against another larger-than-life personality: TV Line reports that the model turned actress has joined American Horror Story: Hotel. She'll play a fashion editor (obviously) "who pays the ultimate price for her critiques." Her arc will reportedly involve a rivalry against Lady Gaga's character, as well as scenes with Angela Bassett. TVLine reports that Campbell is joining the horror anthology series for a multi-episode arc, where she's set to butt heads with none other than Lady Gaga. While Gaga's role has yet to be revealed in full, we do know she's a villain (and apparently has some skin issues), and that apparently spells doom for Campbell's character.
"Campbell - who starts shooting next week - will play a fashion editor who pays the ultimate price for her critiques," TVLine reports. "In addition to Gaga, she will also have scenes with returning Ahs alum Angela Bassett."
Sounds like "Ahs" fans are in for an awesome ride.

Pretty soon there won't be any more room in that Hotel. TV Line was the first to report news of the casting, as well as the fact that Campbell's character will be playing a fashion editor who ends up paying the ultimate price for her fashion critiques. She'll be facing off against Lady Gaga's character, who Ryan Murphy has said is involved with fashion and will be playing a villainous role this season. Another American Horror Story alum has signed on for the show’s newest season, Hotel, and Ryan Murphy wasn’t even the one to tweet out this casting announcement.
