Mr Sunshine plays tennis
23 August 2016 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

This episode of the show shifts the focus away from Matthew Perry's character and onto to the two other main relationships (Alonzo/Alice and Crystal/Roman).

This is a smart move, because although we know Matthew Perry is at the centre of the show it was important that we get to know the other characters too.

There are some fab moments in this episode, notably ones that don't always involve Perry. It was nice to see James Lesure being given more to do and I love the chemistry between Allison Janney and Nate Torrence. It was a shame that Heather (Portia Doubleday)had little to do, but her only line is a great one.

Matthew Perry's character may be the one that's running around all over the place here, but actually this episode made me engage with the other characters more.
