Outstanding episode where Bates again shows her mettle. Tommy Jefferson, so full of himself, brings across some nasty thoughts about the D.A., his ex-lover. To get her to agree with him, he tells how they used to go to bed together.
For television, we see the emergence of inter-racial kissing between Malcolm and Jenna. Is something about to blossom here?
The episode is a terrific one due to the issues involved. Our guy, who wants to get out of the gang, takes 6 bullets and survives, but with a damaged liver. Guess who figures in a liver transplant and guess what the guy did? Unbelievable, with the constant twists here.
We see the desperation of the neighborhood folk turning to a gang doctor to get help. Who did this doctor know?
We see dedication renewed regarding the Bates character-Harriet Korn. She is now part of the neighborhood.
