The Mask You Live In (2015)
Brief shot of Steve Rogers is shown

I Love Lucy (1951) (TV Series)
On top of Steve Rogers' catch-up-list
Star Trek (1966) (TV Series)
Noted on Steve Roger's "catch-up" list.
Trouble Man (1972)
Steve Rogers puts it on his catch up list after Sam recommends the soundtrack.
Three Days of the Condor (1975)
Follows the "who can you trust" espionage plot. Robert Redford is even in it.
All the President's Men (1976)
Shield's HQ - the Triskelion, is on the site of the Watergate Hotel. Robert Redford's presence (starring in both films) in this very building adds to the intrigue.
Rocky (1976)
on the list in Steve's notebook
Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977)
Noted down on Steve Rogers' 'catch-up' list.
A Bridge Too Far (1977)
Alexander Pierce (Robert Redford) mentions to Steve Rogers that his "Father served with the 101st". Robert Redford portrayed Major Cook of the 101st Airborne Division in the A Bridge Too Far (1977).
Rocky II (1979)
on the list in Steve's notebook
Rocky III (1982)
Falcon and Rumlow punch each other at the same time like Rocky and Apollo.
WarGames (1983)
Natasha quotes "Shall we play a game?"; Steve says he saw the movie.
Top Gun (1986)
As a helicopter flies by S.H.I.E.L.D. HQ, a soldier inside is heard to say 'Negative, the pattern is full'. This is a reference to two different scenes in Top Gun, where the main character requests permission to buzz the tower and is denied with the same quote: "Negative Ghostrider, the pattern is full."
Captain America (1990)
Black Window asks Captain America since when he has car stealing skills
Pulp Fiction (1994)
the inscription on the tomb stone in one of the final scenes is also a famous quote from Pulp Fiction
The Matrix (1999)
When Sam calls Sitwell, he says he is on his 10 oclock (left), when Sitwell looks the wrong way, he says your other 10 oclock! Also, Sam is wearing a black leather jacket and sunglasses in this scene.
The Perfect Score (2004)
When Cap and Black Widow are interrogating Agent Sitwell on the roof, he mentions that Project Insight can even predict your SAT scores. Bearing in mind that both Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson were both in The Perfect Score, which is about students stealing the SAT tests papers, it could be a nod to that film.
Iron Man 2 (2010)
Black Widow plays a central role, having first appeared in Iron Man 2.
