After releasing an exciting new trailer earlier in the week, Rlj Entertainment has now released a brand new poster, which arrives as a real kick to the face. The movie brings Van Damme back to the franchise that made him an international superstar. But the action is hotter and the stakes are a lot higher this time around.

Remender hinted in October that Deadly Class and the science fiction adventure Black Science, his collaboration with artist Matteo Scalera, might be heading to television.

Black Widow Is Scarlett Johansson's Favorite Role of All-Time

8 July 2016 2:33 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Scarlett Johansson has had a long, excellent career, having spent 20 years in the business as an actress. She still has an awful long way to go too, because she is only 31 years-old and is one of the most in-demand names in the business. That is in large part thanks to her work as Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As it turns out, she appreciates the role more than anything else in her career.

Speaking with Michigan Avenue, Scarlett Johansson was asked what her favorite role of all-time was. She did admit that it was difficult to decide, but ultimately she landed on her role as one of the core members of The Avengers in the McU. Here is what she had to say.

"I really like playing Natasha; playing the Black Widow. It's been an interesting journey, to take a character and grow it over these years, »

The Warriors: Russo brothers helming TV remake

Rob Leane Jul 6, 2016

Joe and Anthony Russo are producing and pilot-directing a new TV take on Sol Yurick's novel The Warriors...

The in-development TV adaptation of Sol Yurick's gang-based novel The Warriors (which already inspired Walter Hill's 1979 film of the same name) has snapped up two very hot-right-now directors: Joe and Anthony Russo.

The Captain America: Civil War and Captain America: The Winter Soldier helmsmen will direct the one hour pilot episode for Paramount TV and Hulu.

If you're unfamiliar with The Warriors, here's a synopsis of the novel courtesy of GoodReads...

"The Warriors chronicles one New York City gang's nocturnal journey through the seedy, dangerous subways and city streets of the 1960s. Every gang in the city meets on a sweltering July 4 night in a Bronx park for a peace rally. The crowd of miscreants turns violent after a prominent gang leader is killed and chaos »

Reel TV: The 'Captain America: Civil War' Directors Are Developing a Series Based on 'The Warriors'

Apologies to anyone who got excited about a New Warriors TV show. Joe and Anthony Russo are, after all, known for working properties adapted from Marvel Comics titles. But alas their latest project isn't another comic book adaptation, let alone one in the same franchise as their hit McU movies Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War. Rather, they're reportedly developing a drama series for Hulu based on the 1979 cult classic The Warriors.   That movie, about a Brooklyn gang traveling across three NYC boroughs to get back home while other gangs are out for their blood,  is based on a 1965 book by Sol Yurick, which is in turn based on the Ancient Greek historical epic Anabasis. And there is relevance to...

The Russo brothers seemingly came out of nowhere (as far as audiences were concerned) and delivered one of the greatest comic book films of all time in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Grillo Seems To Think We'll See More Of Crossbones In The Marvel Cinematic Universe

5 July 2016 8:58 AM, PDT | LatinoReview | See recent LatinoReview news »

In comments that are either meant to titillate fans or give voice to an actor's desire for more work, Frank Grillo implied that we may not have seen the last of Crossbones in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor played Brock Rumlow in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and then returned as the evolution of that character (Crossbones) in Captain America: Civil War earlier this year.

When we saw him last, it looked like Crossbones had fought his last fight, since he seemingly exploded during the intense opening sequence of Captain America: Civil War. But Grillo was recently quick to point out that Crossbones may have survived the blast.

"You think he dies, don't you? Did you see the body?," he asked ABC News with a smile. "What did you see?" He even points out that this isn't the first time people assumed Rumlow was dead, since he didn't exactly »
