Who should "Glee" cast as Santana's "serious NYC girlfriend"?

Now that we've had time to process the gloriously heartbreaking Brittana moments from Glee's season four finale, it's time to ask ourselves a tough (but exciting!) question: Who should the show cast as Santana's girlfriend next season? Because according to TV Line, it's going to be a pretty big role.

Question: Is Heather Morris leaving Glee? That finale sure seemed like Brittany’s farewell. —Donna

Ausiello: All indications are that Morris will be back in some capacity, but probably not until the first part of 2014 at the earliest (Morris’ baby is due in the fall). But don’t expect Santana to wait around for her ex to resurface. Word on the street is she’s getting a serious NYC girlfriend in Season 5.

I asked on Twitter who Glee should cast as Santana's serious girlfriend and the top three answers were: Anna Kendrick, »

'Once Upon a Time' finale: 'Hook and Emma have a connection,' says star Colin O'Donoghue

12 May 2013 7:09 PM, PDT | Zap2It - From Inside the Box | See recent Zap2It - From Inside the Box news »

On the "Once Upon a Time" Season 2 finale, the world's craziest family worked together to defeat the fail-safe in the curse that would destroy Storybrooke and are now setting sail for Neverland to rescue Henry.

It turns out Henry is a very special boy -- and Peter Pan, the ominous shadow-stealing villain, has been looking for him. Greg and Tamara are Peter's pawns and have kidnapped Henry to take him to Neverland.

One big question we have -- when did Greg and Tamara go from wanting to find Greg's father and get rid of magic to wanting to help Peter Pan kidnap Henry? Did we miss something? Will that be explained next season? That seems like kind of an important detail. Maybe they got an urgent fax from the mothership telling them what to do.

But anyway, now Emma, her parents, Rumpelstiltskin and Captain Hook are off to rescue Henry. »

'Once Upon A Time In Wonderland' officially picked up at ABC - Get your first look at Alice

10 May 2013 8:45 PM, PDT | Zap2It - From Inside the Box | See recent Zap2It - From Inside the Box news »

ABC has picked up "Once Upon A Time In Wonderland," the spin-off of the network's popular fairy tale drama, currently wrapping up its second season.

The network describes the series, designed to air as a limited-run standalone series to bridge the gap between the original show's fall and spring runs, as such: In Victorian England, the young and beautiful Alice (Sophie Lowe, "Beautiful Kate") tells a tale of a strange new land that exists on the other side of a rabbit hole.  An invisible cat, a hookah smoking caterpillar and playing cards that talk are just some of the fantastic things she's seen during this impossible adventure.  Surely this troubled girl must be insane and her doctors aim to cure her with a treatment that will make her forget everything.  Alice seems ready to put it all behind her, especially the painful memory of the genie she fell in love »

'Once' Star Teases Wormhole Destination

10 May 2013 5:56 AM, PDT | Entertainment Tonight | See recent Entertainment Tonight news »

Season two of Once Upon A Time began with the introduction of Michael Raymond-James' mysterious city-dweller -- a man who turned out to be connected to Storybrooke in several significant ways. We learned he was not only Neal, the big love of Emma's life and Henry's father, but also Bae, Rumple's son who was forced into a wormhole, and out of fairytale land, by his father.

Last week's episode not only revealed where that portal popped Bae out (Neverland!), but brought the character full circle as the hour ended with Neal disappearing into another wormhole -- so where did he go this time? ETonline asked the actor that very question when we talked earlier this week!

ETonline: Last week's episode ended with a potentially terrible turn of events for Neal.

Michael Raymond-James: Potentially being the operative word. We haven't seen a body yet, so you never know!

'Once Upon a Time': Bae's 'circuitous route' from 18th century London to present day

3 May 2013 11:30 AM, PDT | Zap2It - From Inside the Box | See recent Zap2It - From Inside the Box news »

On the penultimate episode of "Once Upon a Time," viewers are going to find out just what became of Baelfire when he fell through the portal in Fairytale Land. He ended up in 18th century London and, as you can see in the clip above, is living as basically a homeless street urchin when he is taken in by the Darling family, of "Peter Pan" fame.

But in true "Ouat" fashion, it's not a complete replica of the famous novel.

"The direction that this takes is a little bit different than the classic J.M. Barrie version," star Michael Raymond-James tells Zap2it. "We're doing it a bit different. You'll have to wait and see."

We're very excited to see Bae and Wendy Darling fly off to Neverland together, particularly because we want to know what Bae's background is with Captain Hook, which Raymond-James says is coming.

What To Expect From The 'Once' Finale

29 April 2013 3:42 PM, PDT | Huffington Post | See recent Huffington Post news »

Only one episode remains before the "Once Upon a Time" Season 2 finale, and creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz teased what to expect from the final two hours of the season on Monday morning.

The co-creators screened the first two acts of the penultimate episode, "Second Star to the Right," for a small group of reporters and answered some burning questions as well.

Here's what The Huffington Post learned during our conversation with Kitsis and Horowitz. Warning: Light spoilers ahead!

New Faces and Old Friends

As the first 10 minutes of "Second Star to the Right" can attest, the final two episodes of Season 2 will feature a number of characters from "Peter Pan," including Wendy Darling. And since Bae/Neal (Michael Raymond-James) has a heretofore unexplained tie to Neverland that somehow relates to Hook (Colin O'Donoghue), the "Once Upon A Time" season finale will apparently be "very Hook centric" in terms of its flashbacks, »

With titles like Second Star to the Right and And Straight On 'Til Morning, Once Upon A Time fans have been buzzing that the final two episodes of the season would introduce, at long last, Peter Pan and Neverland. Something ABC semi-confirmed this morning when they released the opening act of next Sunday's penultimate episode [watch that here] where young Baelfire meets Wendy Darling ... in Victorian England!

The sneak peek also introduces an intriguing new entity known as The Home Office, a mysterious organization that tasked Tamara and Greg to Storybrooke for a still-unknown purpose.

This morning, Once Upon A Time creators Adam Horowitz and Eddie Kitsis met with reporters for a roundtable discussion about those aforementioned developments, what the final two episodes have in store for fans and their biggest season two regret!

Long Live The Queen!

You can't have a "Once Upon A Time" spinoff set in Wonderland without Cora, the Queen of Hearts.

The "Once Upon A Time" spinoff pilot takes place in Wonderland before and after Regina's (Lana Parrilla) curse. The series creators told TVLine that stories will be told similar to the "Ouat" format with flashbacks. “We can’t imagine visiting that time in Wonderland and not seeing Cora as the Queen of Hearts," "Once Upon a Time" co-creator Adam Horowitz told TVLine.

Viewers will recall seeing Cora (Barbara Hershey) serve as the Queen of Hearts in an episode of "Once Upon a Time." The character met her end in a recent episode thanks to Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin).

Once Upon a Time Spinoff: New Title, New Queen

4 April 2013 5:45 AM, PDT | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

We have an update on the upcoming Once Upon a Time spinoff:

First, it will now be titled Once Upon A Time In Wonderland, a change from the previously-announced Once: Wonderland.

Second, Emma Rigby - a British actress best known for her role on Hollyoaks - will portray the Red Queen on this unusual follow-up.

The series will begin filming in Vancouver as soon as production on Once Upon a Time Season 2 has wrapped.

It will be told through the point of view of Sophie Lowe's Alice and will tell the story of a pre-cursed Wonderland.

Producers Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz have said the show will follow the model of American Horror Story, running more as an anthology than an open-ended drama. Details are still being worked out and explained, but the spinoff may even air on ABC during the Ouat winter hiatus. »

Once Upon a Time’s Wonderland Spinoff News Roundup

29 March 2013 11:00 AM, PDT | ScifiMafia | See recent ScifiMafia news »

It’s time for us to get all caught up with the news from Storybrooke – or more specifically out of  Storybrooke. The town’s all a-buzz with news of a spinoff, that now has a title: Once: Wonderland. First, let me tell you what it is not. It is not yet a series. It has a name, it has writers, and casting has begun.

It is also just now being written, and all that’s being written is, according to Deadline, a 15-20 page, four scene presentation. That doesn’t mean it isn’t going to be on ABC‘s fall schedule, it just means that it might not be, so although you may want to reserve your blog names now, maybe save your money on the upgrades for a little bit.

It also means that any or all of the information below may well be changed entirely before the show is broadcast, »

ABC has cast the lead role in its potential Once Upon a Time spinoff, as Sophie Lowe has landed the part of Alice.

According to network sources, the project will be titled "Once: Wonderland" and the cast - comprised so far of Lowe, Michael Socha as the Knave of Hearts and Peter Gadiot as Alice’s mysterious love interest, Cyrus - will take part in a test presentation for ABC executives later this year.

The spinoff would be produced by Ouat creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, film in Vancouver and be set in a pre-cursed version of Wonderland.

The series would be akin to American Horror Story, Kitsis and Horowitz have said, running with a set beginning, middle and end and possibly airing during the main show's winter hiatus.

Spinoffs, of course, are all the rage these days.

Once Upon a Time Spinoff to Be Based Around Alice in Wonderland?

20 March 2013 12:21 PM, PDT | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

The plan for a Once Upon a Time spinoff based around the Mad Hatter may be dead, but creators Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz are not giving up hope of expanding their series.

According to Deadline, the producers are bringing in Zack Estrin (Prison Break) and Ouat consultant Jane Espenson to pen a series that would be set in Wonderland (where viewers have been) and based around Alice (who viewers are yet to meet).

The spinoff would reportedly take place in a post-curse universe and feature flashbacks that provide potential for former Wonderland players, such as Cora, to appear.

How serious are these plans?

Production is set to begin next month in Vancouver, following the shooting of Once Upon a Time Season 2.

The spinoff would be comprised of multiple 13-episode arcs, following the model of FX's American Horror Story, and may air in between the fall and spring portions of Once Upon a Time. »

Previously on Once Upon A Time, Mary Margaret ditched her 'pure as snow' shtick and killed Cora, Regina vowed to make her pay, and I started putting up Lost Wolf posters for Ruby.

Since this episode took place entirely in Storybrooke, but at two different times, I'm just going to call it like I see it to hopefully keep everything where it belongs. Wish me luck.

It's cute and sweet and therefore I immediately fear for their lives. Sure enough, a purple cloud descends upon them and they take cover. Meghan Ory Cast as Female Lead on Intelligence

CBS is about to see Red.

Meghan Ory, who was promoted to series regular on Once Upon a Time Season 2, has been cast as the female lead (opposite Josh Holloway and Marg Helgenberger) on Intelligence, a futuristic drama very likely to receive a series order for this fall.

Ory's Ruby has not been featured prominently over the past few months on Ouat, with Deadline reporting Intelligence is in "first position" for the actress, meaning she will leave the ABC series if it gets picked up.

Both shows are produced by ABC Studios, however, giving Ory some flexibility to pop back up in Storybrooke down the line.

The actress will portray a former Secret Service officer on Intelligence. The character will be in charge of protecting Holloway's unique U.S. Cyber Command agent, someone with a microchip that allows him to access the entire electromagnetic spectrum. »
