Regina/ Evil Queen knows as shown in S:01 Ep:07 "The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter"- where she crushes the Sheriff Grahams heart. A heart which she took in the fairytale world for her collection- her collection which she keeps in Storybrooke, below her fathers crypt. In S:01 Ep:05 "that still small voice", when Regina is threatening Archie Hopper (Jiminy Cricket) to do something she wants, she says she will crush him like a bug; a reference to his Cricket life.

Mr. Gold/ Rumpelstiltskin also knows, having a few lines that hint at it and the knowledge of his name from the fairytale world. In S:01 Ep:02 "The Thing You Love Most" it is learned that The Evil Queen makes a deal with Rumpelstiltskin (in fairytale world) where she has to do whatever he says, "please" to. Near the end of this episode Mr. Gold says "please" and the Evil Queen obeys, looking a little disturbed as to why she listened to him. In S:01 Ep:12"Skin Deep", Mr Gold again says "please", and Regina again, obeys. Also at the end of this episode, Regina asks Mr. Gold for his real name, and after a few sly remarks he says his fairytale name: Rumpelstiltskin.

Henry knows as well. In the very first Pilot episode we see him trying to convince his birth mother to come to his home town because his step-mother is the Evil Queen, and the town is under a curse. Henry knows of this because his teacher gave him a book titled "Once Upon A Time", which has nontraditional fairytale stories, and pictures which look like people from his town. A lot of people say this doesn't count as he is a kid, and was not a part of the fairytale world, but the fact is he knows about it, and believes in it.

Sheriff Graham/ Huntsman knew the moment before he was murdered by Regina/ Evil Queen. Throughout S:01 Ep:07 "the Heart Is A Lonely Hunter", Graham is plagued by broken memories of his fairytale life after kissing Emma spontaneously. After wildly looking for answer he turns to Henry, who gives him his "Once Upon A Time" book. After reading the book Graham believes it, feeling his heart was taken, he goes and searches Regina's Family crypt, gets in a confrontation with Regina, and ends their affair. Later he ends up kissing Emma again, and this time he remembers all his old memories. Meanwhile Regina cannot bear his rejection and disobedience, and crushes his stolen heart.

August Wayne Booth, revealed in Se:01 Ep:16 "Heart of Darkness" he knew when he was talking with Henry about the fairytale book ( he also made an addition to the book In Se: 01 Ep: 13 ), when he says his goal is to make Emma believe in the stories from Henry's book. He says that he believes in the stories as they are real as he is.

Jefferson/The Mad Hatter, revealed to Emma in Se:01 Ep:17 "Hat Trick" that he knows about the curse, who the Evil Queen/ Regina is, the Evil Queens father- Henry, and that no one can leave Storybrook and time used to stand still. In the Fairy tale world he is stuck in Wonderland, because he took a chance on trusting the Evil Queens word. In Storybrook, his curse in Knowledge. Knowledge of the curse, of his daughter, and not being able to go anywhere or do anything. That is until he realizes the arrival of Emma Swan causes time to move forward and things are changing.

In season two it is shown that Neal, Emma's former boyfriend, knows at least something about the curse, being informed by August.

Something bad happens, although the mechanics of who can leave and how are still a bit blurry, since we know Henry left (though it could be argued he is not restricted by the curse) to get his birth mom Emma. People have speculated that because Henry was not born in the fairytale land he is not truly under the curse.

- A supposed heart attack suffered by Granny prevented Ruby from leaving - Pilot.

- Emma crashes, trying to avoid a wolf in the road - Pilot.

- Ashley crashes due to labor - Price of Gold.

- Emma's car broke down when she tried to leave with Ava and Nicholas (could be argued it was on purpose, and thus not because of the curse) - True North.

- Kathryn crashes and disappears - What Happened to Frederick.

Post Curse:

Anyone who leaves Storybrooke loses their memories of their fairytales selves - We Are Both

In the episode, "The Outsider," Rumplestiltskin figures out that, if a particular potion is poured on an item that someone holds the most dear, that item acts as a talisman for that person, enabling that person to leave Storybrooke.

No. Both have the same basic premise of fairy tale characters living in the modern world but they are otherwise unconnected. Fables was about a group of characters who flee their homelands and end up in New York City where they have been living for centuries. Immortal, and fully self aware, their attitude tends to be more cynical than the characters on Once Upon a Time. The show Once Upon a Time deals with fairy tale characters who are trapped in small town Storybrooke Maine after a curse from the Evil Queen brings them here. They are, mostly, mortal and are, mostly unaware of their true identities at the beginning of the series. While the two series share some characters, such as Snow White and Prince Charming, their depictions of these characters are wildly different. For example, in Fables, Prince Charming is something of a smarmy womanizer and politician. In Once Upon a Time the same character is actually charming, a devoted husband, and a great warrior but a poor politician.

ABC Studios in association with Digital 49 Productions and Kitsis/Horowitz will begin shooting season one of the brand new fantasy-drama television series "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" on July 31, 2013. The casting directors have begun sending out casting calls for recurring roles, guest starring roles, and day player roles. Production is taking place at The Bridge Studios in Vancouver and various surrounding locations. The show's stand-ins, photo-doubles, and extras are being cast locally in the Vancouver area. The series is a spin-off of the popular fairy tale drama series "Once Upon a Time". Season one will continue shooting through February 17, 2014.
