Beirut 1990, Lebanon, emerging from a bloody civil war, becomes under the Syrian ward and the Lebanese authorities are working with this oppressive regime. A group of fellow students, led by Joe-Daniel, a charismatic activist, will guide this pacific movement and the struggle for freedom. Written by Anonymous
I have to express my big surprise about Rue Huvelin. It is a great movie filled with emotions and real time images. I have never seen before that a Lebanese movie with such a good level of authenticity and credibility. All the youth in Lebanon and abroad will feel concerned with the students' everyday life and the universal fight for freedom.
With the huge marketing campaign that has been done about the film, I think it's up to my expectations. Though technically, we can't really talk about the best image ever but the deepness of the story and its content and message takes you to another level of involvement while watching the movie.
Thank you Mounir Maasri, Thank you Maroun Nassar, Thank you Rue Huvelin...
