Just us, or Revenge is totally back on track this season? We are finding ourselves fully invested again in the majority of plotlines, particularly the biggest, over-arching mystery of the third season: Who shoots Emily (Emily VanCamp) on her wedding day? Ok, totally big whoop, but we just found out who the shooter is (shhhhh!), and suffice to say, we are...Freaking. Out. It quite honestly just might be the best Revenge twist to date, because the identity of Emily's shooter is someone you would never, ever guess. We are blown away. Kudos, Revenge writers! Ryan Murphy has revealed to EW details about the next season of American Horror Story, including that it will be set in the past. One possibility has me excited, the other feels a little too… familiar. He also said that there won’t be a Coven spin-off series, as originally suggested.
Josh Bowman tells TV Guide that he’s hoping to leave Revenge. “I love working on the show, but I’m just being honest. My character has flip-flopped the most, and it’s been so hard for me to play,” he explains. I’d certainly miss looking at Bowman but it’s not like Daniel has had many interesting stories since Tyler was written out.

Lydia Davis supposedly died in the plane crash at the end of "Revenge" Season 1, but in the final moments of "Secrecy," the show's last Season 3 November sweeps entry, we learned that the shamed socialite is actually alive and well. What?!
We probably should've seen that coming, considering Victoria managed to make it through too, but still: waiting a full season and a third to bring Amber Valletta's character back shows impressive restraint, and was just the soap opera-style twist the show needed to keep Season 3 much more fresh and interesting than Season 2, which lost its way for a while.
"I was pleasantly surprised and really excited to be back," Valletta tells TV Guide magazine of her triumphant return. She's known she'd be back "for months," but it's been hard to keep it a secret. "Sunil [Nayar, the new showrunner] told me he put Lydia's name up on the writers' planning board when he took over, »
