Jesse Sorensen’s Tna Injury – A Warning Tor TV Wrestling?

27 February 2012 4:05 AM, PST | Obsessed with Film | See recent Obsessed with Film news »

For a show that featured the likes of Jeff Hardy, Hulk Hogan and A.J Styles, it may seem unlikely that after Impact Wrestling’s Against All Odds pay-per-view the name on everyone’s lips was Jesse Sorensen. Unfortunately unlike the aforementioned names, Sorensen’s fame comes not from a high profile match or feud, but from his suffering one of the worst on screen injuries in pro wrestling history.

The PPV which aired on February 12th in the Us featured Sorensen against Zema Ion in the opening match to determine the number one contender to the X-division championship. After only a few minutes Ion connected with a moonsault from the middle rope to Sorensen who was standing outside the ring. The incident which was replayed during a interview with Sorensen on this week’s Impact Wrestling broadcast was one of the most frightening aired on a wrestling program ever »

Tna Impact Wrestling Review 15/02/12

Impact Wrestling – Feb 15th 2012

Bobby Roode retained successfully at Against All Odds so he rightfully was the main focus of the show this week. Although you have to question why he made Christy introduce him twice, he must be a glutton for punishment. He also rightfully pointed out that it’s Sting’s own fault he is still champion. The “Insane Icon” didn’t like this and so hit the ring and put him in a No Dq, No Time Limit match against Jeff Hardy in the first match. Is anyone still drug testing Jeff? Only someone on drugs could devise such terrible entrances and face paint every week. Either way, they had a decent opening match which even had a few spots around the stage and ramp. Hardy was all over Roode for the majority, and only lost when Kurt Angle made a return and threw Jeff into the steps. »

Tna Against All Odds Recap

12th February 2012

Live From The Impact! Zone

Backstage the annoying cameraman tries to talk to Jeff Hardy but he just smirks and walks on. Rude. Following that, the opening video packages focuses on the World Title match and how important Hogan thinks the company is. It is a Vegas themed logo but that’s about as far as the theme gets. No Tazz tonight as he is dealing with a family death, so we have Tenay and Borash on the headsets.

#1 Contender’s Match to the X Division Title

Zema Ion vs. Jesse Sorensen

All that hairspray is bad for the environment Zema. Matt Morgan is not the only one with a “Carbon Footprint.” Jesse carries his football as always in this battle of the entrance props. He give his to a kid at ringside cause he’s that kind of guy. Zema gets in »

Tna Impact UK Invasion Review 9th February 2012

Tna Impact! February 9th 2012!

The UK “Invasion” continues, with a cross promotional opening video package with Star Wars. Because Garrett vs. Eric is just like Luke vs. Vader. Never does a week go past that Tna doesn’t surprise me. Last weeks crowd in the UK made the show seem ten times more important, so lets hope for more of the same on Tna Star Wars Night in association with Episode One in 3D.

First out is Jabba the Hutt. Or Bully Ray as hes known. Bully doesn’t want to talk to Anyone but his “Close, personal friend” Bobby Roode and he’s clearly pissed with him. Roode obliges and Ray meets him in the ramp to shout at him. “Where the hell have you been for Me!?” Crowd are all over both of them as Bully wants to know why he doesn’t have his back. “You’ve »

Sting Injured At Tna Impact Tapings

28 January 2012 11:11 PM, PST | Obsessed with Film | See recent Obsessed with Film news »

Tna legend Sting has reportedly suffered a legit injury at Saturday night’s Tna Wrestling tapings from the UK, to screen February 6th as the go-home Impact. have a report from the event;

“In a match for the Feb 9th go-home Impact, it was Sting & Storm over Roode & Ray. Sting blew out his heel in an innocuous looking spot. Sting made Roode submit in the scorpion for the finish, then ref Brian Hebner did the X sign with his arms and sprinted down the aisle to the back to get help. Sting did a brief promo praising the fans, then said he’d heard something pop in his heel. Sting then brawled very gingerly with Bully Ray to the back, scuppering what appeared to be a Hogan & Sting & Storm vs Roode & Ray & Angle dark match. Instead, Hogan & Storm did a 2 on 3 cleaning house, before the Hogan pose down. »

Tna Impact Wrestling! Review 22/1/2012 – James Storm vs Jeff Hardy

22 January 2012 12:35 AM, PST | Obsessed with Film | See recent Obsessed with Film news »

Tna Impact Wrestling! 22nd January 2012

Last week, Bully Ray helped Bobby Roode retain again against Jeffrey Hardy. And this week, out first is James Storm with his Mickie James like entrance music/video. He’s number one contender now. He tells Kurt hes the greatest wrestler but he was better then threatens to whoop Roode’s ass. “Sorry about your damn…” He’s cut off by Jeff Hardy’s music and the Rainbow Emo himself comes to the ring. “I got screwed at the PPV, I got screwed last week.” He tells Storm nobody gets a shot until he gets his final encounter. Storm says a few months ago He got screwed. “You’d think with all this screwing he’d have a lot of child support to pay.” Before we can digest that thought, Roode comes out with a mic. He’s flattered at the attention but reminds Storm »
