A&E Cancels Longmire

28 August 2014 11:16 AM, PDT | Boomtron | See recent Boomtron news »

A&E is cleaning out their TV close and Longmire is a causality. The western based drama is inspired by a series of novels by r Craig Johnson, lasted for 3 seasons. The show didn’t do bad in ratings, but performed badly in demo. Now fans have the bad news that A&E has kicked the series the curb. While they had kind words for it-it does not take back the not so kind words that they had to say about the fact that it was indeed cancelled off of their network. Here is what they had to say about the series.

We would like to thank the phenomenal cast, crew and producers of Longmire, along with our partners at Warner Horizon, for their tireless work on three seasons of quality dramatic storytelling. We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved together.

The good news is that Warner Horizon is not giving up hope. »

Katee Sackhoff Has Not Met With Marvel For A Role Yet

14 August 2014 9:59 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Katee Sackhoff’s name has been thrown around several times over the years when discussing a possible Marvel Studios role, usually in conversations about the long-rumored Ms. Marvel. The fans aren’t the only vocal parties, either, as Joss Whedon recently tweeted a picture of the Battlestar Galactica alum as proof that gender-swapping Thor in the comics could lead to great results. With Ms. Marvel heavily rumored to have a cameo appearance in Whedon’s upcoming Marvel flick Avengers: Age of Ultron, is there a chance that Sackhoff could land the coveted role?

There’s a chance, yes, but according to Sackhoff she hasn’t even met with the studio about it yet. She met with Marvel legend Stan Lee recently, but told Vulture that she has yet to talk to anyone from the “Marvel Studios brain trust.”

She recently dropped a series of Twitter clues though alluding to a secret upcoming role, »

The other day, actress Katee Sackhoff (BSG, Riddick, Longmire) posted the first couple of clues to a new, secret role she has in the pipeline. As you can see, though it was never actually stated this part was anything superhero related, the pics certainly suggested she was being fitted for some type of costume. Well now Katee has posted some more clues, confirming that this role is not Marvel related while she's at it.
