Storyline

PR professional Derrick Joyner seems abducted from his home, where his Korean fiancée Kim Ho Lee was murdered. The detectives discover his corpse and suspect his faked kidnapping to cover up some fraud, notably in the controversial anti-gay-marriage campaign conducted by state senator Ben Corrigan, black rights-champion reverend Davidson and his son and heir Roland. they find not only money missing, with political and legal ramifications complicating the trial options greatly, as do changing pleas and contradictory testimonies.
