Star Trek medical practice comes to earth via high speed internet and the RP-7 robot at Palm Drive Hospital in Sebastopol, California. The RP-7 is an internet-enabled mobile robotic platform that allows a physician to be remotely present in a patient's room and still be able to see and understand vital signs.
