Danny Cordray (Timothy Olyphant) actually appears in a clip accepting his "Hottest in the Office" Dundie Award, which was cut from the episode but can be found on the deleted scenes in the season seven DVD. During the Dundie Awards, Michael says, "Danny could not be here tonight to accept his award, so he is live via satellite! Oh, Danny! Are you there?" A video plays showing Danny at his home, but then Michael shows up to give him the Dundie, revealing it's not actually live. Michael then proceeds to gush over how handsome he is while Danny looks embarrassed.
The sound effect played by Dwight on Toby's comment at the end is a part from the song ''Oh Yeah'' by Yello.

Michael says the Dundies are like the Golden Globes only less mean. Ricky Gervais who created the original Office on the BBC was a Golden Globes host and was mean.
