“It was one of those parts that models get because my audition was various bikinis,” the actress, whose background was in modeling and children’s theater, tells People.

After acting opposite Tom Cruise, she got steamy with Patrick Swayze in 1989’s Road House. “To do your first two films with Patrick Swayze and Tom Cruise, who are both — were, in Patrick’s case — really amazing sweet and kind, guys, I loved working with both of them,” says Lynch, now 58. “They were really, really fun.”

New Teaser Video for At&T Audience Network’s Series Adaptation of Stephen King’s Mr. Mercedes

Brady Hartsfield lives to kill, and Detective Bill Hodges is driven to stop him in Mr. Mercedes, the At&T Audience Network series based on Stephen King's book of the same name. Following the unveiling of the first promo video back in May, a new teaser video for the series has now surfaced ahead of its August 9th premiere.

Brady Hartsfield lives to kill, and he promises to strike again in Mr. Mercedes, an upcoming series based on Stephen King's book of the same name (the first entry in a trilogy). The series will be released on the At&T Audience Network from Sonar Entertainment this summer, with an official premiere date and image revealed.

At&T has rounded out the cast of its straight-to-series drama Mr. Mercedes, which is based upon the 2014 Stephen King novel of the same name, and has kicked off production ahead of a premiere in the fall.

Deadline reports that Brendan Gleeson (Harry Potter) will play Detective Bill Hodges alongside Harry Treadaway (Penny Dreadful) as Brady Hartsfield, Jharrel Jerome (Moonlight) as Jerome Robinson, Scott Lawrence (Avatar) as Detective Peter Dixon, Robert Stanton (Mercury Rising) as Anthony “Robi” Frobisher, Ann Cusack (Nightcrawler) as Olivia Trelawney, Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds) as Janey Patterson and Holland Taylor (The Truman Show) as Ida Silver. Following the recent news that Mary-Louise Parker has joined the cast of Sonar Entertainment’s adaptation of Stephen King’s Mr. Mercedes, the complete core cast for the At&T Audience Network series has now been announced with production on the show underway in South Carolina.
