Trivia:
The Brazilian version of this show has another title: "1 Milhao de Anos em 1 Hora", witch translates into "1 Mililon Years in 1 Hour". That made the adaption shorter (60 minute run with a 10 minute opening talking to the audience) and has a voice-over opening that tells about the big bang.See more »

Author: SnoopyStyle

Colin Quinn does a stand up HBO special.

This is a piece based on one concept.

It's a look at human nature reflected in history and our modern existence.

It's a dog eat dog world in his gruff sensibility.

It does feel long-winded going from one historical period after another.

It doesn't feel personal.

I like Colin enough in general but this one doesn't really connect with me.
