Nick Burkhardt, a promising Portland homicide detective, told nobody he gets visions of people 'transforming' into monsters when he looks at them. While investigating the murder and disappearance of two girls, he realizes it's a Grimm family gift, which passes from his aunt Marie Kessler when she is dying from cancer. She also gives him a mysterious key. Nick becomes her attacker's next target, but barely and wisely discretely uses his gift to track down the postman, who turns out a descendant of werewolf line, yet helps him find the violent monster.

Rocky Babb goes missing after breaking into lawyer Frank Rabe's desolate Forrest home with his girl-friend Gilda Darner, who escaped and urges the PPD to investigate. Nick believes her and Grimm-senses Frank's adolescent son Barry can change into a bear. Eddie Monroe Blutbad accepts grudgingly to guard aunt Marie Kessler in hospital while Nick and Hank check out Barry and his motorbike buddies, Jason and T.B. Colbert, who kidnapped Rocky for a grim sunset initiation hunt.
Season 1, Episode 3: BeeWare11 November 2011
During a flash-mob on a bus, a lawyer is killed with a stunning overdose of bee venom, but it fits no geographical origin. Monroe and the Grim records help Nick work out it must be the work of a feral bee queen, the sworn enemy of Hexebiests like Adalind. Trailing an professor-beekeeper and the other twelve attendants of a convention, Nick and his partner Hank find them congregating and get attacked by an unnatural bee swarm.

Nick discovers that several disappeared women were raped, a few also killed, after a stay in Billy Capra's romantic, honeymoon-oriented hotel. After a Grimm-flash shows him Bill as a goat, Nick enlists Eddie Monroe to help him identify the feral type, which uses irresistible seduction pheromones, and to prepare a hotel intrusion to save the latest victims. Meanwhile captain Sean Renard gives an uninvited French reaper a terrible welcome.

Nick investigates the death of popular Seattle private prep school music teacher, who was bitten to death by rats in his car. The popular crowd suggest the only feasible suspect is recently suspended outsider Roddy Geiger, a gifted violinist but son of ruffian junk yard keeper Ephram. Near the fatal car are found cages used by Roddy to keep his pet rodents. As Nick recognizes the knave as feral rat, Monroe tries to give 'fatgerly' guidance. However when his father is falsely arrested and abused in jail, the boy snaps and sets a trap for the rich kids who constantly abuse and sometimes bully him. In his anonymous feline DJ mask, he lures them to an underground rage, where his biting army is ready for the kill.

Nick is called to a suspected arson case, which exposes a longstanding family feud that brings Monroe face-to-face with characters from his troubled past. While Monroe wrestles with restraining his wild side, it's up to Nick to keep everything from going up in flames.

A drug trafficker was murdered without apparent motive deep in the forest. Helped by unusually enthusiastic Monroe, Nick soon works out the killer must be a feral and after tracing her it's a girl. Then follows traces indicating she may be a long-missing child having nearly grown up in the woods, and suggesting a link with recluse tracker James Addison, but there are others involved.

Highly respected judge Logan Patterson is murdered, and shortly after several other people who played some part in the conviction and incarceration of an escaped giant of unnatural strength. Nick is badly wounded, out of action. Monroe however shows unusual enthusiasm to help out while Hank follows the paper trail.

Concurrently, Nick takes (admittedly belated) action to stop the (Wesen) creatures from rumor-mongering and stalking his home; in this show of power, Nick is slowly coming into his own as a Grimm - and defending house and home.

When Nick consults him about an erratic murder committed by athletic ex-con Dimitri Skontos, Monrie soon helps him realize that's actually a victim of 'gladiator games' organized by the most bloodthirsty pride of Löwen, a lionesque feral species. Nick spends his anniversary working out the fighters are recruited trough a dodgy parole officer and where the arena is hidden. Captain Sean Renard realizes the lucrative fights are becoming too notorious, his royal order to close down is ignored, so he turns to a priestly enforcer. Meanwhile first Monroe, then Nick co undercover, only to end up caged and hence in the ring, facing daunting ferals.

Jeweler Sam Bertram was murdered by three Europeans killers, of rival feral species, to steal the rarest Ancient gold coins from his safe. Two are dead, the third steals a uniform from a cop he murders. The coins are found on the elusive Farley Kolt, who is arrested and tells Nick enough to work out he was late aunt Marie's true love. The coins, minted on Zakynthos, with swastika's and lions heads, are poisonous and magically attract great power and utter disaster. Captain Sean Renard keeps them and starts an ambitious 'campaign against crime' amidst dreams of absolute power in Nazi style.

Nick is puzzled by several corpses with unusual semi-internal combustion symptoms. After Nick and hank are attacked by a fire-breathing dragon, which fits the riddle, Monroe teaches Nick about the suspect feral breed, not actual dragons but close, and brings him in contact with a member, Ariel Eberhart, fire-breeder at his favorite nightclub. She seems however romantically more interested in Nick than is safe for his relationship with Juliette, and is the daughter of the murdering 'dragon'.

Elsewhere, Monroe and Rosalee are called into action when the lives of Hank and Sgt. Wu hang in the balance.

Nick shows angelic patience when Juliette's memory returns about everything except their love.

Park ranger Ryan Gilko is the first of several Wesen, affected by a contagious disease, who suddenly commit violent attacks on people. The team felt relaxed now Hank is being included in the secret, so Monroe takes Rosalee on a picnic. Alas, the plague spreads and even affects her, so it's up to Monroe to make the remedy they researched together while Nick holds her feral state in check. Captain Renard meanwhile learns that another terrifying European fugitive has arrived in Portland.

Nick is delighted when Juliette, who still can't remember him, invites home for a home dinner to get acquainted all over. But he's called away urgently by Monroe, who has a feral visitor: a ruthless killer, yet also a friend of his, who only pretended to take a contract for his death to warn him after 'accidentally' killing the initial hit man. Nick, who wants her for at least two earlier murders, grudgingly cooperates, even has to allow her pretending to be his partner. To get to the royal presumed to have hired a killer, Monroe must fake his death with a potentially lethal potion, instructed over the phone by Rosalie, who visits a very ill relative, after a dream date with Monroe. The royal is in awkward league with Renard.

Surviving competitor Pierce Higgins is actually an unwitting Wesen-halfbreed. In Vienna, his brother, prince Eric, confide into his latest conquest.

When Mexican immigrant Alvarez tries to save a woman in white from drowning herself in the river, the actual ghost abducts his small son Rafael. The next day, a girl suffers the same fate. Valentina Espinosa, an Albuquerque detective, arrives to offer the Portland PD here expertise in many similar trios of abductions ending in the children's midnight drowning by a strict MO. It ties in with the legend of La Llorona, but the FBI reports her fired and illegally intruding the investigation. Nick finds that the ghost in a Wesen.

Nick is puzzled by several cases where a suspect who escaped the police is violently dealt with by a masked, cloaked avenger. He even leaves messages, suggesting to be a 'real Grimm' who cleans up 'weakling' Nick's messes. But he strike terror even with gentle Wesen, like the beavers, who seek help trough Monroe, who fears it's a descendant of a medieval Grimm vigilante order. Nick suspects a police mole.

Nico is shocked about Juliette's infidelity, which she can't explain, yet sort of accepts it and ends up moving out to his heritage trailer. Monroe realizes from a TV appearance that her partner, who ordered an obsession cure, is none other then police captain Sean Renard and ends up telling Nick. Meanwhile Adalind and a pack of canine Wesen almost hunt down Renard for the coin, and he tracks Nick's trailer after allowing him to lock up Adalind.
Season 2, Episode 13: Face Off8 March 2013
Once Monroe shows him that Renard is Juliette's lover, Nick can barely control the urge for illegal revenge. Helped by just returned Rosalind, Monroe works out how the passion spell can be broken, and ultimately Renard convinces Nick they must work together. Meanwhile Adalind is released for lack of evidence and returns to Renard's traitor brother in Vienna, without the key. She ignores he found and stole it from Nick's desk.

Monroe's potion finally relieves Renard and Juliette's passionate obsession, so he and Nick can collaborate again, even closer then even, with Monroe and Hank aboard, against the royal conspirators. Three youngster Wesen, Cole Pritchard, his girl Krystal Fletcher and his former cell-mate Gus, repeatedly commit robberies using their Wesen appearances as if masks. Monroe witnessed a bank robbery and alerts Nick's police team as well as the 'Wesen Council', as this is a blatant violation of the centuries old Schwaben code, which Amsterdam HQ chief De Groot orders enforced. Juliette has novel supernatural experiences at home.

Shortly after each-other, people are attacked by a revolting fly Wesen, which causes blindness by licking, thus introducing river blindness-type parasitic worms. Nick is affected himself. Monroe and Rosalind work out they only have a few hours to prevent permanent blinding by capturing the Wesen in feral form, scooping up an eye and mixing it in a concoction. So they must find it even faster, using heirloom Grimm record clues.

In Dominick Spinner's successful Portland games design company, several employees engaged in developing and testing a single video-game are, one by one, killed i the game and hours later for real, by similar gruesome devices. At each corpse a literary clue is found, an anonymous caller dares the police to identify him. Nick handles the case, using Wu's bachelor hobbies experience. Monroe helps work out what rare Wesen could be behind it. Renard is preoccupied with royalty parties rivalry.

After sleeping on it Nick decides it would be best for Monroe to take Juliette to the trailer. However, the trailer triggers more memories of Nick than Juliette may be able to handle leading her to seek the help of Pilar for insights into her current condition. Meanwhile Monroe fears Rosalee, who is serving jury duty, maybe under the influence of a toad dropping Ziegevolk who is jury tampering to win his case. Nick, Hank, Bud, Monroe and Rosalee hatch a plan to stop this Ziefevolk once and for all.

While Hank goes on vacation, Nick and Renard team up to investigate the death of a local geologist who was cooked from the inside out after taking volcanic rock samples from Mount Hood. Meanwhile in Austria, Frau Pech takes Adalind to a Gypsy woman to learn the value of her baby, but the former Hexenbiest desires something other than money.

Ranchhand John is killed while accidentally bumping at night into Vincent, a blue-fluorescent feral performing one of 27 raids on cows around Portland, actually harvesting bovine utheri for his pregnant mate Jocelyn, with whom he keeps moving and hiding. Besides Nick, the case seems to be followed only by an 'ufologist' or alien-hunter, who in fact chases the very feral species. Monroe recognizes the print Nick made from his coin as part of a medieval map as Swabia, Renard explains the keys combine into a map to a terrible treasure hidden by seven crusader Grimms. Juliette swears Monroe to secrecy, being insecure about her reemerging love memories.

A Caribbean feral, called 'bouckman' in the Grim records, causes his victims to get green foam around the mouth. Only apparently dead, they arise as extremely violent zombies. Their feral created in Portland, a voodoo 'baron', is in league with captain Renard's rogue brother Eric, who visits from Vienna to discuss dynastic matters. It concerns a royal bastard child, equally dangerous and valuable, born by Hexenbiest Adalind, who is torn between conflicting advise and tricked into 'signing' a gypsy-style contract. Meanwhile Monroe, Rosalee and beaver Bud oblige Juliet's stubborn demand to see what Nick intended to reveal before her affliction, soon accepts this and agrees with Nick to become a close couple again.

Nick is back on lovers terms with Juliette, who remains eager to learn about ferals. Nick must however give priority to the violent crimes wave caused by zombies. As he feared, they are created by the voodoo 'baron', who sets a trap as instructed. Captain Sean Renard informs Nick about his mistrusting meeting with visiting European royal half-brother Eric and the counterfeit documents he prepared at the castle. Still in Vienna, Adalind poisons with Pech to switch appearances, but is still seen trough and overtaken by the gypsy witch's family Popescu. Rosalid prepares an antidote, but once tracked down in the port, the superior zombie numbers corner down Nick's party.

Meanwhile, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) does his best to clean up the zombie fallout on all fronts - domestic and international. Elsewhere, the more time Adalind (Claire Coffee) spends with Stefania (guest star Shohreh Aghdashloo), the more disturbing things seem to get in her quest to regain her Hexenbiest abilities.
