Bravo is continuing its push into original scripted programming. The NBCUniversal-owned cable network has given the green light to Odd Mom Out, an original comedy series starring author/fashionista Jill Kargman, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The single-camera series is expected to be included in Bravo's upfront presentation announcement Tuesday morning. The series hails from Left/Right (Mob Wives) with co-presidents Ken Druckerman and Banks Tarver on board to executive produce alongside Kargman and Piro Vision's Tim Piper and Daniel Rosenberg. The veteran showrunner behind such series as Mob Wives, My Super Sweet 16 and Real Housewives Of New Jersey has been named Svp East Coast Production and Development for VH1. In her new role, Nina Diaz will oversee unscripted programming developed and produced out of VH1’s New York office. She will be based in New York and report to Susan Levison, Evp Original Programming and Production for VH1. Diaz most recently served as Svp Head of Current Production at Left/Right Productions, where she was responsible for multiple series including VH1′s Mob Wives franchise and spinoffs as well as A&E’s Rodeo Girls. Yes, you read that right: Queen Big Ang and her Knight in T-Shirt Armor Neil are (hopefully) going to be parents! In this new clip from the Feb. 13 episode of VH1′s Mob Wives, obtained exclusively by HollywoodLife.com, Ang and Neil make their first trip to the doctor to collect a sample — and assuming Neil doesn’t have a “dead d**k,” as Ang fears, everything should turn out all right!

Shelly Tatro has been tapped to spearhead A&E’s unscripted programming, as the cabler appoints her senior vice prez of development and programming in its nonfiction division.
Tatro joins A&E after over 12 years at VH1, where she most recently served as senior veep of east coast production and development. At VH1, she was responsible for reality programs including “Mob Wives,” “Love & Hip Hop” and “Black Ink Crew.” Tatro also launched the “I Love The…” franchise on VH1, and separately helped develop “Jersey Shore,” which would find its way to sibling cabler MTV.
“Shelly has a great reputation for having her finger on the pulse of the industry,” said David McKillop, exec veep and g.m. of A&E. “Her experience in nonfiction programming and her expertise in identifying emerging talent make her a valuable asset for A&E as we continue to expand the depth and quality of our original unscripted programming lineup. »
