Deus Ex Writer Announced for Movie Adaptation

CBS has asked 2010s Predators screenwriter, Michael Finch, to write the movie adaptation of Deus Ex, a Square Enix game.

Based on the Deus Ex: Human Revolution, this film will focus on ex-Swat member, Adam Jensen, who undergoes robotic augmentation in an attempt to get to the bottom of a global conspiracy.

Writers Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill, who worked on the script previously, are now heading up the script for Marvel’s Doctor Strange.

Michael also worked on Hitman: Agent 47 and currently working on Theorem.

Deus Ex is set to release Feb. 27, 2015.

Anne Heche Has Nothing to Fear In The First Horror Offering From Slasher Films

Director Anthony Leonardi III makes his feature debut with the first Slasher Films' production, 'Nothing To Fear'. Slasher Films is the new studio outfit setup by Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash which will deal mainly with all things horror. The new demonic flick will star Anne Heche -below ('Psycho', 'I Know What You Did Last Summer') along with the sexy Willa Holland ('Legion', 'Straw Dogs'), Jennifer Stone ('Mean Girls 2'), James Tupper and Rafi Gavrone. The production kicks off in February 2012. Slasher Films are also attached to two other horror projects on the horizon - Philip Eisner's 'The Other Kingdom' and Vincenzo Natali ('Splice') and 'Predators' scribe Michael Finch's 'Theorem'.
