Due to her being shorter than the real life 5'4" height requirement that the actual Pan Am stewardesses had to be in that era, Christina Ricci
was forced to wear high heels while her co-stars wore shorter "kitten" heeled shoes. See more
The Pan Am logo that is used in the intro is the wrong one for the time period of the show. Up until 1971 the letters in "Pan Am" did not touch each other. In 1971 they changed to a globe with no letters in it (The words "Pan Am" were next to it). In 1973 they went back to the original globe logo with Pan Am in it, but with the letters touching. See more
