'Minority Report' TV Show Gets Stark Sands as Precog Twins

Just hours after the female lead role in Fox's Minority Report TV series went to Meagan Good, Stark Sands has landed the male lead, playing the dual roles of precog twins Dash and Arthur. Those roles were played by Matthew Dickman and Michael Dickman in the original Minority Report movie, directed by Steven Spielberg. The actor joins a growing cast that also includes Daniel London, Li Jun Li and Laura Regan.

The story is set 10 years after the Minority Report movie, where the Precrime experiment in Washington D.C. came to an end. Meagan Good is portraying Lara Vega, a detective with a troubled past who encounters Dash (Stark Sands), a former precog who is struggling to live a normal life as he continues to be plagued by haunting visions of the future. The TV follow-up to Minority Report has found its leads: Anchorman 2's Meagan Good and Inside Llewyn Davies' Stark Sands

We recently heard that Daniel London would appear in the Minority Report series, reprising his role from the film as Wally the caretaker for the TV series set ten years after Tom Cruise brought the whole PreCrime system crashing down.

Now, we know who the two lead characters will be played by. They look a bit like this…

The lead role has long been listed as Detective Lara Vega, who we now know will be played by Meagan Good of Think Like A Man, Anchorman 2 and Brick. Her character is a detective who’s ‘not afraid to break a few rules.’ The action of the series will see her helping a former Precog Dash, who still needs help reintegrating into society ten years after the events of film. »

"Minority Report" Fills Its Leading Roles

Stark Sands ("Inside Llewyn Davis," "NYC 22") and Meagan Good ("Think Like a Man," "Anchorman: The Legend Continues") have scored the leading roles in Fox's TV series follow-up to the 2002 Spielberg sci-fi film "Minority Report". The series is set ten years after the end of the Precrime Division in the nation's capital.

Sands plays Dash, one of the three Precogs who struggles to lead a "normal" human life yet remains haunted by visions the future. He soon meets a detective (Good) haunted by her past who helps him find a purpose for his gift.

Sands will take on the dual role of his identical twin brother Arthur, he joins a cast that includes Laura Regan as the third Precog Agatha along with Daniel London and Li Jun Li.

Kevin Falls ("The West Wing") will serve as show runner and Mark Mylod will direct the pilot. Max Borenstein ("Godzilla") penned the script and will executive produce. »
