Storyline
Rebecca has a very unusual secret, one that not even her best friends know about. The last person on earth she expects to reveal it to is a high priced escort named Paris. What starts as a comedy of errors ends up a uniquely erotic journey. Rebecca's unconventional efforts to find herself are raw, evocative, and often times humorous, but always very real, very human. Very few film productions reach deep enough to cause such a delicious distress to ones daily routine. And by this I mean been kidnapped emotionally for a few days by a story and its characters. The mere fact that one keeps returning over and over to certain scenes with such thirst, makes me acknowledge that the Director has undeniably connected on personal basis with my needs, desires, search, dreams, fantasies, etc. It takes a very gifted, perceptive and empathic individual to have such a capacity to reach.
Although personally the dialogue did not strike me as potent as that of "Claire of the Moon" or "Elena Undone", obviously because of the storyline, that timid and brief dialogue between the main characters had certainly a je ne sais quoi that keeps one engage. The ambiance throughout the film was gorgeously crafted and the music (WOW) was sublime.
