Storyline

Danny's ex Rachel and daughter Grace are the victim of a car-jacking. As the Mercedes was abandoned, he assumes it must be on account of Grace's stepfather Stan Edwards's business, yet learns the dirty party is a corrupt commissioner. Steve and Chin must find and rescue Julie Adelman, the former accountant of and key witness against Baja drug cartel baron Aaron Brenner, who arranged two uniformed fake cops to kidnap her and eliminate U.S. Marshall Frank Moore. After a commando style mountain jungle rescue, they must deal with the hard to identify 'cleaner' (backup-killer). Written by KGF Vissers

Trying to Hard To be Tough
7 February 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Reminds me of the Pilot episode, making it seem repetitive. If you have low sugar content in your system then the buck stops here because it's has plenty of eye-candy. The atmosphere has a very tropical nature which will delight Miami Vice fans of yester-year along with enough ego's to keep guns firing and butts well kicked, and can't forget about the beautiful women that turn up the heat with there stunning beauty all done without the help from a Victoria Secrect catalog. When the action happen's, it happens across the board, it keeps all characters involved. The special effects department is where this show shines the best; it doesn't over do it nor under do it. When it comes to the story it side-tracks from the main plot hear and there but it brings it all together in the end, sort of forcing you to bare with it till the end, which is not so bad if your watching from a comfortable location. I can see that this show is still in the process of distinguishing itself from similar shows form the past and with more time I'm sure it will, it's definitely the fastest ride on television without a doubt.
