2 joke characters
23 August 2013 | by See all my reviews

This show is basically about 2 broad big joke characters.

The first is Krysten Ritter as Chloe, the B in the title. She's a modern day grifter living off the generosity/naivety of others. She spends her day with various schemes to party and to get money. In fact, she tried to take Dreama Walker's character June Colburn's rent money in one of her schemes. They slowly become good friends. But who's influencing who?

The second is James Van Der Beek playing a warped version of James Van Der Beek. He seems to have fun playing it over the top.

The 2 jokes went a long way, but it never got much past them. It never became more than the original concept. The group chemistry really never gel. In the end, it lasted 2 seasons and only 26 episodes.
