The project is based on the memoir of the same name written by Navy Seal sniper Chris Kyle, who has the most confirmed kills of any sniper in U.S. military history. Sienna Miller is playing the soldier's wife, who is raising his kids while he is off fighting overseas. Clint Eastwood reportedly spent the past week deciding between Sienna Miller and Jaimie Alexander (Thor: The Dark World) for the role. Kate Mara was a contender for the role, but she was forced to drop out after signing on to play Sue Storm in The Fantastic Four.
Facebook has changed the way people meet one another and how we learn more about people shortly after departing from their company. “Facebook stalking” has become a common enough of a concept that we now have a romance based on that very concept: A Case of You. While everything about it is pretty obvious after the first 30 minutes, from the conflict to the resolution, it still has enough charm and a few good performances to make it worth watching. Director Kat Coiro’s romantic comedy doesn’t have a whole lot of comedy, but its sincerity and cast (Justin Long, Evan Rachel Wood, Sam Rockwell, Busy Philipps, Peter Dinklage, Brendan Fraser) give it some heft.

The Oscars are uncomfortably close. We’re less than three weeks away from the big moment where Judi Dench will (hopefully) cackle menacingly as her Notes on a Scandal costar Cate Blanchett picks up a second statue. “You’re a vampire!” Cate will holler from the stage. And I’ll jump into the TV.
The point is it’s time to think about actresses in a big way. Today’s topic: the 10 greatest losing Best Actress nominees of the past 10 years. Forget “winning performances” like Sandra Bullock in The Blind Side or Reese Witherspoon in Walk the Line. These are the runners-up whose work also deserved formal, fabulous recognition. (Keep in mind I’m not necessarily saying these actresses should’ve won, but I will tell you who they were up against.)

In the age of Facebook, the quest for love is complex. That's the premise of "A Case of You,"a romantic comedy (unrelated to the Joni Mitchell ballad) about a writer who subscribes to the "likes" of his love interest. The star-sprinkled cast features Justin Long (as said writer), Evan Rachel Wood (as the love interest), Peter Dinklage, Vince Vaughn, Sam Rockwell, and Brendan Fraser. Written by Justin and Christian Long (brothers), this modern NYC love story debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival and will be released on DVD and Blu-ray today from IFC Films. What's It About? Based on a true story, "Dbc" stars Matthew McConaughey as Ron Woodroof, a good old boy diagnosed with HIV and given 30 days to live. He begins importing non-fda approved drugs into the Us to treat himself and begins selling them to other people living with HIV as part of a buyers club. Jared Leto plays his business partner and friend Rayon, a transgender woman who also has HIV.
Why We're In: Although "Dbc" has been criticized for some of its more liberal interpretation of the facts, strong performances have earned this movie six Oscar nominations.
