Despite an ugly Aidan (the man is talented), this series is doing quite well. The writing is good, the production values are better than the British version, the casting is great, episodes are introduced with philosophical monologue and good music choices.
This episode, everything is going along well, good plot, surprises that did not happen in the British version, good tension from the characters, good acting, good dialogue, Aidan sacrificing his freedom to save Josh, Marcus letting in the older werewolf against Bishop's wishes despite it being "sick", and the werewolves engage in battle. Cut to commercial. Next we see Josh, Aidan and Sally sitting at home. WTH? I ran to the wife in the other room. What happened? Did I miss something? She said no, she was just as confused and disappointed as I was. They didn't show the rest of the fight. I had to look at the summary on SyFy to find out that Josh won the fight, presumably with no outside interference. What were they thinking? A positive is that we see a part of Bishop's past that makes him more sympathetic to the viewers.
