One last portion of Rock and Chips
6 May 2011 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

This episode aired as a tribute to the shows writer John Sullivan and succeeds in not only showcasing the great mans talents of writing both comedy and drama but also leaves us wanting more of this great series. You can't help wishing that there was more.

With this being the third episode all the cast are really into their stride now with Nicholas Lyndhurst continuing to shine and James Buckley also becoming more confident as young Del Boy.

This episode is perhaps the funniest of the three and the ending is not as rounded as the other two which only shows that Sullivan had dreams of writing more Rock and Chips.

As the credits roll we as an audience feel sad about the way the series has been brought to a premature close and that Britain has lost one of it's greatest comedy writers in John Sullivan. RIP Mr Sullivan.
