If you want an action movie this movie is not your cup of tea. It is nothing like Casper, co-starring Ricci.
It all starts when the McCaffry family moves to a new home to improve their family life. What they don't know is that a previous owner of the house has unfinished business. Clive shares several things with Oliver There is even a moment of brilliance with two words. That is a blessed relief after all the other movies I have watched recently that all have at least 3-4 dumb (stupid?) moments in them. To me, stupid moments are not funny - they are just stupid. The fact that this movie doesn't have these stupid moments is a blessed relief. It is a warm movie suitable for children.
I have only saw Martin Mull in The Ellen Show (2001-2002) and in Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. He played his part well I hope he has more co-starring roles in the future.
The Hallmark Movie channel shows Oliver's Ghost every one to two months so that is where you should view it. I have watched it about five times and thoroughly enjoy it every time I see it.
