Back in the day when I was around 8-12 there were some really great classic shows I watched which were educational. Stuff like the Magic School Bus and Bill Nye and this of course! These shows brought science to a level which I could understand and enjoy. Magic School Bus is a classic on it's own, Bill Nye is awesome, and this Hard Hat Harry was another one of those things I watched (as well as a fourth but I can't see to recall what it was). It's basically a guy who teaches some kids about a certain type of transportation vehicle.
In the case of the DVD I had it was about boats and another section about planes. I do admit the child actors were anything but professional and their 80-90s clothes.... haha. But I was still impressed with the flow of how it went. And the plane one had Hard Hat Harry shirtless! That would be taboo Today and deemed inappropriate for Children's shows.
All in all, I enjoyed it and learned some new things! Rated 8/10 for creativity and funny humor and of course educational topics.
