For starters, for some reason, Amazon says this came out in 2017. But as I watched it that was clearly not the case so much of the info is old news. So for me it wasn't much of a learning experience. But I sure would like to know what was up with the music. The drowsy saxophone playing constantly made me feel like I was watching some 80's romance thriller or a red shoe diary episode. That was a bizarre choice for a supposedly serious alien/ufo documentary. I found it boring only bc it turned out to be much older than Amazon stated so I was bored to the point that I actually fell asleep.

This is a world-class film, exquisitely produced and thoughtfully scripted. This is the real deal and is consistent with everything that has been poking into the public consciousness for decades.
US started trying to shoot them down in 1952–this is about as smart as the Spanish declaring any indigenous peoples who did not speak Spanish to be heathens subject to enslavement. Lost so many pilots the order finally rescinded in 1954 or so.
Many excellent interviews with a range of serious people.
The Roswell alien crash was directly associated with US early nuclear endeavors probably being "scouted" by concerned aliens.
Most disturbing is the lengths that US and UK governments went to drug and otherwise disorient and silence direct witnesses who were not "cleared" to be aware of extra-terrestial matters.
Brazilian and Russian reports suggest alien activity in "containing" effects of early nuclear explosions.
Mexico is so focused that a two-hour prime time show covers UFOs once a week.

The editing is so bad it's as if this documentary is a satire. An interviewee coughs and they just leave it in. Why? And as the narrator speaks with a cliche tone and cadence about outer space and early man, don't show me a black and white clip of an early man superimposed over a graphic of the solar system. It's low quality production like this that makes our UFO community lose credibility. You're hurting me.

For those who don't have time to waste watching this nonsense I'll sum it up in a nutshell: The Day Before Disclosure is pure bovine fecal matter. Just another re-hashed UFO movie with interviews of the same old Ufology circuit by Terje Toftenes. There's nothing new here and the "evidence" provided is laughable.
Interview excerpts include known hoaxers like the Chiropodist Roger K. Leir aka the "Alien Implant Doctor", who boasted about cutting implants out of alleged "abductee's"...FEET! Yep, he showed a bloodied toe where it appears he removed a bunion and then said the bloodied bit was an alien implant. He refused to allow these "implants" to be studied by reputable scientists to validate his claim, so I call nonsense. He's as believable as the Filipino faith healers who perform "psychic surgery" (which the US FTC has proved to be medical fraud), by creating the illusion of performing surgery using trickery and animal entrails to convince the patient that the diseased anatomy was removed and that the incision spontaneously healed. Various alleged "abductees" are interviewed, as well as the scammers Budd Hopkins (I wouldn't buy a used car from Hopkins let alone allow him to fiddle with my mind) and David Jacobson who do more harm than good by messing with the minds of emotionally fragile people who probably have issues like depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or suffer from sleep paralysis. These so-called psychologists use regression/hypnotherapy, and plant leading questions about aliens into the minds of traumatized individuals who are seeking help. Conning these people through hypnosis into believing they've being abducted by aliens and have undergone painful experiments without any ability to defend themselves against so-called "gray aliens" is downright cruel and damaging. Go ahead Jacobson, pull my other finger...
Terje includes old interviews with Nick Pope, Stanton Friedman (the failed Astrophysicist and his annoying Roswell/Majestic 12 claims which have been thoroughly debunked) and Richard Dolan who talks a lot but says very little, mainly saying it might be true but it might not be true. Yawn. Other excerpts include Steven Greer (the self-declared "global ambassador" to aliens who looks like a smug Ninja Turtle) Fyfe Simmington of the Phoenix Lights and Jim Penniston whose claims about the Rendlesham Forest incident (should be renamed the RendleSCAM incident) become more bizarre and embellished with each re-telling. Gordon Cooper's words have been twisted once again - he has always said he DID NOT see a UFO land on a runway at an air-force base, he says he was given a roll of FILM with photos of the alleged landing and sent it straight to his superiors and never heard of it again. But Terje would like you to believe that Gordon Cooper saw it with his own eyes. Talk about cherry-picking and fabricating details! ALL of the stories in this movie have been seen before and are old news. There are very few first hand accounts from so-called "witnesses", almost all is secondhand, anecdotal evidence these "witnesses" heard from somebody else who they trusted and thought were credible. I have no doubt that some of these military men, astronauts and other scholars thought that what they saw WAS extraterrestrial, but there are other, perfectly logical explanations that have nothing to do with UFO's or ET's.
Terje's movie is a waste of time and the case for Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny is more believable than this pathetic attempt at proving UFO's exist and that "Disclosure" is imminent. Show us empirical/forensic evidence that has been scrutinized by reputable scientists and I'll consider the possibility. Until then I'll keep believing in unicorns farting rainbows and continue debunking silly Prime "documentaries" that I watch late at night due to bad insomnia. At least they send me to sleep...

...but the proofs just aren't there. As a kid who grew up loving science and adoring science fiction I'd really like to believe we've been visited. Where is the proof though? One unproven theory that seems to make sense on top of another unproven theory that seems to make sense just doesn't equal proof. It equals good sci-fi, but not proof. I like to be entertained by stuff like this but to me it's along the lines of alternate history sci-fi. Speculative fiction at best. The CIA bought the national enquirer to make everybody scoff at the very idea of ETI? Again, great MIB fodder but to take it seriously, I just can't. I have yet to be convinced. Why would they be so patient about any takeover? Surely they could handle us pretty easily and quickly. As a teenager on Long Island I saw something hovering very low and it was larger than a plane or chopper would appear in the sky. There was no sound like a motor, no helicopter blades,as would definitely be heard by something flying/hovering that low, and we didn't have drones buzzing around in 1975. It vanished very suddenly too but all these years later as a grown man I just can't be sure it meant there are extraterrestrials visiting us. I'd like to believe but for now I'm still stuck with wondering.

Imagine if you were given 2 random pages from a 500 page novel and then you had to give a book report/review.
That essentially sums up the UFO documentaries like this one, always with the same authors trying to pass off fiction as fact.
It's always the same people, labelled as "UFO Researcher" or "UFO Theorists" who project their imagination or hopes or beliefs onto us when they have no actual data or evidence.
Roswell, for example was 100% just crashed cutting edge military balloons made of polypropylene (the first time for such balloons) that were GIGANTIC, bigger than football fields and carried massive payloads... nobody knew about them outside of the small group of military launching them... not even the Roswell Army Air Field knew about them, even 10 years after the 1947 "crash". 1500 were launched, tracked and retrieved in the New Mexico/Nevada areas at that time.
Now what are the chances that advanced aliens came billions of light years across the universe, and crashed their high tech craft into that same location, at the exact same time? LOL. Oh, and they crashed many times.
Well, one of the personalities in this is Stanton Friedman, a Canadian who likes to use his "physicist" title to make him seem important. He essentially lived off the Roswell myth, selling books, and was very defensive and offensive against anybody whose story didn't jive with his. Most of his myth was debunked by the new JJ Abrams 2021 UFO documentary.
There are so many "I believe that..." statements in this documentary that have no place. Who cares what "experts" believe, as it's just their imagination at work. Just the facts please.
The only real disclosure is most likely that the US Military, or most likely their private contractors, are testing very high tech aeronautics and have been for many decades.

Same info as all of these documentaries have hashed up again. Sooooooo dull and the narrators voice OMG it's boring. So so boring.
With all the technology out there we should have 4K or 3D footage of an actual captured UFO or at least tracking it. I love UFOs but come on guys this is dull.
