Did You Know?
The movie contains song parodies of some famous songs Elvis Presley sang: "Hound dog" (The scene at the "Ed Sullivan Show"), "C'mon everybody" (Viva-Las-Vegas-Scene), "That's all right, Mama" (in the scene with "James Dean"), "Hawaiian Wedding Song" (in the scene with "Priscilla"), "Suspicious minds" (song scene between the dialogs) and "Are you lonesome tonight" (song during the credits). "Elvis" has also referenced the song "Burning Love" in the scene with Billy Boy and "Marilyn" and the song "Unchained Melody" in the truck scene with Billy Boy. See more
When the young Elvis is playing guitar it's visible that he's not really playing guitar. The riffs on the guitar are not the same as the ones used in the song. See more
What my mom told me, well exactly, 'cause she, like, never officially admitted that I was her dauther, but what she told me was: When they were filming in Vegas he was so smitten with her that on the first day of rehearsal he actually ripped her clothes of. Not that she had a lot of clothes to start of with.
