Storyline

Toronto is hit with a series of bank robberies where the lone gunman not only takes the money but kisses a pretty girl before running off. Pesky Toronto Gazette reporter Patty Glenn is all over it which is proving to be more sensational than the the recent vampire stories. Oddly however, the stolen money turns up on the doorstep of a local orphanage. When the thief robs the same bank for a second time and kisses the same girl, Annabelle Rose, Murdoch begins to suspect that he may have taken a particular liking to the girl. When the bandit robs the bank for a third but kills Annabelle with a revolver, Murdoch thinks he may have the solution. Meanwhile, Dr. Julia Ogden's vivacious sister, Ruby, is back in Toronto to attend Julia's upcoming marriage to Dr. Darcy Garland. She's not convinced that Julia and William no longer have feelings for one another. Written by garykmcd

Bizarre story a bank robber kissing a bank employee
9 April 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This episode starts with about 20 people in the bank doing their business and a bank robber in disguise with a big hat, red scarf, a mask and a hand gun. holds up the bank. No one moves. He kisses a bank employee who is to be married while her boyfriend is near her and just looks on and then the robber takes the head of the bank in the back to open the safe.

This is so unbelievable with all the people in the bank only one person runs out the door to get the police. When the thief is in the back no one leaves the bank. I can't believe people with no one to harm them accept for the disguised bank robber all stay in the bank.

It was like a stage show the way the bank robber performed. The employee that was kissed later gets invited to meet the bank robber after his second robbery. The money is left at an orphanage and it appears the police know who the bank robber is.

The writers of this staging a bank robbery with the criminal attracted to the lady he kisses to get attention does not make sense.

Dr Ogden's sister Ruby talks with her future brother in law Darcy and tells him he is very nice to let her sister live in Ontario after they are married knowing Julia will be working with Murdoch her former love acquaintance. Darcy is surprised. Julia never told him.

It ends when the two man talk honestly and Murdoch says it was over between him and Julia before Darcy entered the picture. I don't know. it is a matter of the heart not words or actions.
