Against his wishes, Barbara is forcing Arkady to move temporarily to another suite to accommodate a visiting VIP. Arkady is even more incensed when he learns the identity of the VIP - nicknamed the Brooklyn Bolt - whose visit to Vancouver and his want for Arkady's penthouse suite is not by accident. Meanwhile, husband and wife Allan and Olivia Davis, after hearing about his other crime solving exploits in the media, approach Arkady to find out who bombed their car. The bomb itself was remotely detonated. Despite the Davises not having any money, Arkady takes the case if only because one of the results of the bombing is that the Davis' adolescent son Colin Davis has become agoraphobic. As Arkady looks into the background of Allan and Olivia, a freelance "green" architect and an independent online retailer respectively, he finds that they are not all they appear on the surface. With advice from another strategic mind, Arkady tries to piece together how a subsequent beating, Colin being bullied, another car bomb on the other side of town from the Davis' house, and Colin's online role playing video gaming factor into the equation. Elsewhere, Pippa and Jason's relationship seems to be moving into a personal realm, with one of the two having an ulterior motive.- Written by Huggo
