If you like birds you will love this documentary. The footage of the birds is excellent as the photographers captured much of the reflective scale coloring. This is more difficult to do than what meets the eye in the showing of the birds as they display and dance. There is some drama in terms of the males being able to attract females. There is also mystery because some of the behavior of the birds can not be explained based upon existing information. The narration is captivating. The investigators not only learn about the birds directly through observations but also through the traditions, dance and festive attire of the inhabitants. David Attenborough is near genius in his work in natural history in general and with the birds of the world in particular. This work deserves high praise.
