Lucía is a painter, happily married with two children who suffers a domestic accident. As a results she looses her sight. She begins a journey into herself, discovering what she couldn't see before about her own life.
In Madrid, a petty thief who cannot adjust to life outside of jail puts together a theater troupe her friends -- a prostitute, a gypsy, and a Colombian immigrant -- in an attempt to make a go at a relatively straight life.
It is a dramatic comedy about friendship in its broadest sense and lifelong pursuit of happiness. Several stories interweave, in search of love from parents, children, lovers and friends to establish unconventional relationships.

Blind girl Echegui is determined that getting pregnant will make it possible for her to love someone.
This gets mixed in with her therapy group of variously disadvantaged (not the right word now?) individuals with comic and affecting back stories. Episode structure, which serves no particular purpose. OK cast not all that well served by the material.
It's too pretty and not all that convincing but it's something which it's target audience should take to.
