Storyline

Dad McGarrett's toolbox, which Steve kept their old and new evidence concerning his murder and its antecedents in, is stolen from his apartment. His sister Mary Ann made photographs and even came up with some original ways to approach the case, but she's kidnapped. Both trails lead to tycoon Hiro Noshimuri, a friend and major campaign contributor of the governor, but also the Hawaian Yakuza branch's chief. Even his own brother Koji is sacrificed to counter Steve and Danny closing in, but that cant stop them. In their shadow lurks Wo Fat, who also was behind Chin's set-up. Written by KGF Vissers

Quotes

Danny 'Danno' Williams: [tracking Mary's cell phone] Chin, get a location?
Chin Ho Kelly: I couldn't get a lock. But the last signal that came from her cell phone bounced off a transponder near Punchbowl.
Steve McGarrett: All right, Chin, listen. It's coming from the trunk of a car, climbing upwards, all right?
Chin Ho Kelly: That's gotta be the Pali Highway. There are dirt roads that lead to the forest reserves right before Maunaili.
Steve McGarrett: Yeah.
[Steve turns on his siren and spins the car around]
Danny 'Danno' Williams: Hey! Whoa, whoa, whoa! Pali Highway's that way.
Steve McGarrett: Yeah.
Danny 'Danno' Williams: Yeah, what? Why are ...

The Best New Hawaii 5-0 Episode
3 January 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This is the penultimate episode of the first season. It is the intersect between classic Hawaii Five-0 and the new Hawaii 5-0, where McGarrett, Danno, the Governor, and the legendary Five- 0 villain Wo Fat reach a crossroads, where none can turn away from a collision course.

In this fast paced and well-scripted juggernaut teleplay, it is impossible to take your eyes off of the action and foreboding realization that a central story line will conclude and herald the start of the colossal battle between McGarrett and Wo Fat. I was so engrossed that I watched the episode only a couple commercials behind, where normally, I would have watched it after it had been fully recorded.

I highly recommend this episode for anyone who wants to know whether the new Hawaii Five-0 is worth watching.
