Storyline

Dad McGarrett's toolbox, which Steve kept their old and new evidence concerning his murder and its antecedents in, is stolen. His sister Mary made photographs and even came up with some original ways to approach the case, but she's kidnapped. Evidence leads Five-0 to local business tycoon Hiro Noshimuri who is not only a friend and major campaign contributor of the governor, but also the Hawaian Yakuza branch's chief. Even his own brother Koji, a cop, is sacrificed to counter Steve and Danny closing in, but that can't stop them. In their shadow lurks Wo Fat, who also was behind Chin's set-up. Quotes

Danny 'Danno' Williams: So you know, I have an amazing, amazing amount of respect for your memory, all right? But without hard evidence - hello? - without hard evidence, we cannot - NOT - go after Hiro or his brother. And I am sure your father was in the same position eighteen years go.
Steve McGarrett: Listen to me. I am not my father, okay? I don't have a wife and kids to protect.
Danny 'Danno' Williams: That doesn't give you license to go out and do something stupid!
Steve McGarrett: Like what, put bullets in Koji and Hiro's heads?
Danny 'Danno' Williams: Yeah, that would qualify.

The Best New Hawaii 5-0 Episode
3 January 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This is the penultimate episode of the first season. It is the intersect between classic Hawaii Five-0 and the new Hawaii 5-0, where McGarrett, Danno, the Governor, and the legendary Five- 0 villain Wo Fat reach a crossroads, where none can turn away from a collision course.

In this fast paced and well-scripted juggernaut teleplay, it is impossible to take your eyes off of the action and foreboding realization that a central story line will conclude and herald the start of the colossal battle between McGarrett and Wo Fat. I was so engrossed that I watched the episode only a couple commercials behind, where normally, I would have watched it after it had been fully recorded.

I highly recommend this episode for anyone who wants to know whether the new Hawaii Five-0 is worth watching.
