"Family Guy" Seahorse Seashell Party (TV Episode 2011) Poster

(TV Series)

The name of the episode "Seahorse Seashell Party" is a reference to a popular YouTube video called "Lizard on Acid" about a man on acid who talks about various images such as seashells and seahorses, much like what Brian sees in the episode.
This episode aired October 2, 2011, the same night as "Hurricane" on American Dad! and "Hurricane" on The Cleveland Show. The story of a hurricane connected all three Seth MacFarlane shows.
The visuals of Brian's hallucination are inspired by the famous painting "Dulle Griet" of Pieter Bruegel the Elder. Dulle Griet is called Mad Meg in English, which is an obvious reference to Meg's outburst in this episode.
