Storyline

When his childhood hero Chuck Ferguson (guest star Gregg Henry) expresses interest in coaching the Center's hockey team, Ben (Matthew Perry) must make the Crystal and Roman seem like the perfect family. As Ben's repackaging of Alice's idyllic upbringing as the Cohen's makes Roman uneasy, Alonzo (James Lesure) jeopardizes a TV commercial when he can't recreate the legendary missed shot that ended his basketball career. Enjoying the sunshine
22 August 2016 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

While it's the fifth episode on the 'Mr Sunshine' DVD this was ultimately one of the episodes that never aired on ABC.

It's a shame because much like the other unaired episode I've seen ('Self Help' this is another good episode of the show.

I love the fact that they started to give the other characters their own stories, and this episode was one of the best to highlight the comedic ability of James Lesure. He's great here.

Again though it's Alison Janney and Nate Torrence who steal the show, and it's clear why Chuck Lorre was so quick to sign her up for 'Mom' because she excels at comedy.

I like the fact that while Matthew Perry's character is still central the writers have toned down his raging against the world. An issue I had with a previous episode was that it felt like the show was all on his head, but this doesn't seem the case here.

There are some lovely moments within this episode, and it's a shame that not many people got to see it.
