Amerigo Washington is the director of a Zeus-inspired performance group, Zeus's Muses. Within the group is Lily--a cheery aspiring actress, Michael--a white guy obsessed with his fractional Cherokee heritage, and Walrus--a homeless man that carries a sword. A passionate but misunderstood group of artists, Amerigo wants nothing more than to teach the world the lessons of the Gods, compassion, and hope through their interpretive dance performances. What will happen when they are forced to do a performance that is not about Zeus or the Greek gods?
