Local folklore in politics

"Kijken in de ziel - politici" is a television series of Coen Verbraak about the attitudes and personalities in Dutch politics. Outstanding Dutch politicians are subjected to in-depth interviews about their methods, values, tactics, opinions etc. The result is amazing, as is always the case with Coen. With such a name you can't go wrong. Politics, and especially the politicians provoke me. They are such a fascinating breed. Having written this, I guess that the series is only relevant for Dutchmen. It is all in-crowd information, based on national peculiarities. Which in Germany evidently differ from yours. In addition subtitles are lacking. I like to add, that Verbraak made similar TV series about psychiatrists, lawyers and (European) football coaches. We are talking about top salaries here. I find the psychiatrist one really, really amazing! The tricks of the subconscious mind. Warmly recommended to Dutchmen and anyone else who loves us.
