Dos Santos was the 5th director hired to complete Eternity. He picked up after the 4th director walked from the movie, leaving dos Santos with 12 days to prep whilst the production took a break. Some of the film had already been shot before Dos Santos took the reigns.See more »

It seems like everyone wants to make a vampire movie and most get it badly wrong. This is more wrong than most. I am not sure if South Africa felt it had to jump on the vampire band wagon or if this new director wanted to try something different to the norm, but this just doesn't work. It's not that you can't imagine vampires in South Africa, it's that you can't imagine these actors are seriously trying to play vampires.
This has got to be one of the worst movies ever made and certainly the worst to come out of South Africa in a very very long time. Really bad acting combined with really bad directing make for a truly dreadful experience. The bad acting is a bit of surprise given that there are some decent actors in the movie, but no matter how hard they try the end result is disastrous.
Avoid this movie at all costs!
