Marcela lays the foundations for the renovation of Argentine animation.
17 December 2010 | by See all my reviews

A portrayal of the life of Marcela, an office worker in her forties, used to daily routines and unfulfilled dreams, translated into a complex animated universe (Gastón Siriczman spent more than a year working on it) in which each biographical fact unfolds into multiple graphic devices. With its tone and its narrative mechanism of coherently combining apparently irreconcilable extracts, Marcela lays the foundations for the renovation of Argentine animation.
