Dr. Sid Hammerback: Cameron Marshall, age twenty-seven. Copious amounts of river water in his lungs and stomach confirms COD as drowning.
Dr. Sheldon Hawkes: Okay. Oh, looks like vic number two's throat was crushed.
Dr. Sid Hammerback: Mm-hmm. Brett Hollister, age twenty-five. Suffered blunt force laryngeal trauma resulting in complete cricotracheal separation.
Dr. Sheldon Hawkes: Water in the lungs?
Dr. Sid Hammerback: Uh, trace amounts. He stopped breathing before the truck sank. I imagine he floated up through the open hatch. Sadly, victim number three wasn't quite as fortunate.

Keep On Truckin'
19 January 2012 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

A wild party is going on inside a big truck (another new way to party, evidently). Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves until the truck is seen either going out of control or deliberately headed into the Hudson River.....which is what happens. Three people die but it could have been a lot worse as there were over 20 people inside the truck.

It turns out that a couple of people at the party were targeted for death. One of the people who died was the daughter of a violent union big-wig, who wants instance. Mac has to fight him off as well as try to solve this confusing case. (Paul Ben-Victor is intense as "Carmen Enzo.")

The case is a little unusual in that a handful of victims in here could also be connected with the murder. The story keeps you involves trying to figure this one out. I thought for sure I had the right person, but I was wrong.
