As a documentary, it is a revealing inside story of how a modern monastery operates in the suburb of Gothenburg, Sweden. The three monks in the documentary are living a modern life with old Franciscan tradition. A very interesting view when the three men are telling their story as well as sharing their life and that of others connected to the monastery. As they all came from different parts of life, they all brought something to share. A very well directed and produced documentary where we follow their life on a day by day basis on a common belief of god and their religion. In the way it was directed, we are feeling their issues and calmness that shines through for the viewer. I felt very interested in their stories and life, and also why they had chosen such a different life from where they grew up. In Sweden, it is very rare that anyone choose the life of a monk. I highly recommend the documentary for anyone who are interested of a serious life story.
