Hussain Burmawala took 6 1/2 months to complete the editing, the longest time taken for any Indian film to be edited.
Before shooting this film, stunt director Allan Amin decided to make Sonam Kapoor comfortable behind the wheels of a Mini Cooper as she is very tall. She practiced for 10 days. However, during one of the practice sessions, she hit a lamp post in Wellington as she accelerated while reversing her car.
Sonam Kapoor had difficulties driving a Mini Cooper due to her height and her inexperience of driving a manual transmission. So a stunt double did most of the driving scenes for Sonam in Wellington. On the other hand, Abhishek Bachchan and Sikander Kher had no problems driving Mini Coopers--except for getting in and out of them because they are so tall.
