Lying Can Be the Best Policy ***1/2

Warning: Spoilers
What's going on here? The show seems to be getting somewhat funnier.

With Allen's eyesight going southward, he accidentally hits his estranged wife with a golf cart and puts the blame on their son. With Elaine unable to get around, she winds up staying by Allen and the two seem headed back for romance.

The son's date with the lady in the restaurant runs into complications when his nutty friend invites a lot of people over. The theme here is the consequences of lying but things seem to work themselves out. It's funny the way Elaine finds out that Allen hit her with the cart, but as the true wife, she accepts it. The above review was basically the show before. Working Man refers to Allen's attempt to get his son back in the working world by paying someone to hire him. He did this while accusing Elaine of coddling their son, but Elaine goes one better by having someone by a condominium from the son. The show was not a good one and should be rated ** at best. It is so cliché where parents will do anything to help out their children. The season's finale had better be a better one.
